Tucker High School: Presentations that evening also included Julie Todd, THS STEM Coordinator who in turn introduced James Bunting, a senior in the STEM program, Technology Student Association (TSA) President and a Chief Science Officer (CSO) at THS, a PowerPoint presentation by THS Parent Liaison Presentation by Lisa Humphrey, a communications presentation by City of Tucker’s Communications Team, Matt Holmes and Sonja Szubski, and our representatives from DeKalb County School District.

With about 25 people in attendance, including 6 Tucker Cluster Principals and 2 Assistant Principals, our Regional Superintendent, our School Board Representative, and our School Board Representative Elect, topics covered included TMS accomplishments, Easy Money opportunities, introduction of the new TCC website, STEM database presentation, Principal Reports, updates from DCSD Representatives and more.

Tucker’s schools are enjoying a renaissance. Several of the Tucker Cluster schools have gained STEM and/or IB certification, CCRPI scores are routinely meeting or exceeding state averages and Tucker High School’s graduation rate is now routinely among the highest in DeKalb County.
